Friday Musings

Hello Friday, this week has been a struggle but I'm trying to stay positive and keep pressing.  So much going on that I am not really in the holiday mood because I don't feel well.  Today's card was created for this week's #craftydares that is hosted over on IG,  the dare was to use splatter, 2024 and crafter's choice. I used a siliver piece of paper for the base, paint splattered the black layer and used some Paper Studio letters for the sentiment and a Sizzix die set for the rectangle and numbers.  It's hard see because of the splatters but I did add some tiny star embellishments too.  I am sharing this card for the Anything Goes challenge #737 over at Tuesday Morning Sketches.

Thank you for your visit, continue to stay safe and hug your love ones a little tighter this holiday season.  Take care and hurry back soon.

December Memory Dex Card

Hello and happy Wednesday, today I am doing a quick drive by post to share my last monthly memory dex card for 2023.  I am in a dilemma as the year is ending and I have to make a few purchases because I'm going into 2024 on a no craft spending plan; the only exception being adhesive!  I have way too much stuff and I must use it or part with it! I created this project using two items that I had never used before.  The gingerbread die is from Momenta and was added to my stash last year and the pattern paper is from a pack that which I received in the mail on Monday from winning a giveaway on YT.  I'm sharing this project over on the NBUS challenge #56 for the second time this month!

Sweet Treat

Hello and happy Tuesday, doing a quick drive by to share one of my most recent layouts.  I have been on a quest to scrap me more as I'm usually the one behind the camera.  Today's LO is one that I created using pictures taken during a summer celebration at work; I called it Friday Fun Frenzy!  I had fun just chillin, trying to lift the morale of the hospital staff!  I used papers from an Echo Park and stickers from an Echo Park paper pack, some dies, enamel dots and I even pulled the felt hearts from a bag that was sitting in my stash.  I like it and it helps me complete  another LO toward my quarterly goal. I'm sharing this for the Challenge YOURself  #117 - Life Balance, fun work celebrations help with work balance!

Thank you for your visit, hope you will return soon.  Take care and continue to be safe!

Tuesday Musings

Good morning and happy less humid Tuesday; I won't even start to talk about the weather and all that's going on right now.  I have been creating but not really sharing on my blog; it's hard trying to navigate this social media presence!  Today I am doing a quick drive by to share a scrapbook LO that I recently completed; as scrapbooking is really my passion!  I created this LO using a picture taken recently with my father during a family event; the only thing that pains me is that my mom is not well so we rarely take pictures.  Most of the papers came from an old Authentique pad, stickers from Heidi Swapp and Paper Studio, enamel hears and a heart paper clip from my stash!

Thank you for your visit, continue to be safe and hurry back again soon.

CIU #284 - Create a Scene

Hello and happy Friday, let the weekend begin!  Today's card share is my latest design team project for the Cut it Up challenge blog. This week's challenge was to create a scene, my original idea was to create a beach scene but I ran out of time while trying to shop my stash!

When putting my card together I pulled a Momenta die set, a WeR Memorykeepers embossing folder, a Sizzix die set for the sentiment,  miscellaneous papers and gems all from my stash!    The scene came together rather quickly since the die set included everything that was needed.

Head on over to the Cut it Up challenge blog for more design team inspiration, create and share your project using a die.  The challenge starts today and ends Wednesday, August 23, 2023 at noon PST.

Thank you for your visit, continue to be safe and hurry back again soon.

Sunday Musings

Hello and happy Sunday, today's card share is another birthday card.  When creating this card I used sketch insparation from Atlantic Hearts challenge #536, papers from Ki Memories and an unbranded die for the sentiment and finished the card by adding some enamel dots.  All items that have been in my stash for a number of years!  I have lots of birthdays this month so I am creating more birthday cards.  I also shared this card for the #2crafters1design and #satmornmakes challenges shared on YT and IG.

Thank you for your visit, wishing you and yours a wonderful week; I hope you will return again soon.

Birthday Greetings

Hello Thursday, little Friday; I meant to share this card yesterday but as life would have it I didn't have time to post.  I created this card for one of my scrappin' besties, her most favorite  color is purple!  Her birthday was yesterday, I'm not sure it arrived  on  time so I shared it on FB and IG; I am not liking the US Mail right now.  I shopped my stash to make this card, my first time using the paintbrush dies which I've had them for over a year.  I am sharing this card for challenge #114 over at the Crafts Galore challenge blog where the theme is always anything goes.

Thank you for your visit, hope you will return soon!
